Incotec, GDPR and you

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) aims primarily to give control to citizens and residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU. As from may 25th 2018, new regulations are enforced.

As a matter of fact, each business requires working with personal data: staff management, recruitment, prospection, communication campaigns, customer service…

As editor and integrator of management software, Incotec can also deal with clients’ personal data. For more than 30 years Incotec has been guiding clients throughout their project and providing them a ready-to-use solution. Implementation of the solution, training, hotline and maintenance are several project steps we can help you with. During some of our maintenance operations, carried in compliance with our clients, some of our coworkers can have access to personal data.

Furthermore, our products also deal with personal data, and as processor of personal data, our clients are rightly concerned by data protection: platform securing and access, encryption, data removal…

Personal data protection is a large issue and we are as concerned as you are.

Therefore we have been working on the matter for months, in order to make a list of all the personal data handling we do, to review our security process and implement new internal rules. The final purpose being to comply with the regulation.

We remain at your disposal should you want to know more.
